Mosaic Lantern is a silver lantern built as a short pierced drum with a tall arched handle that swings on two loops riveted to the rim. Finished with a rich silver-plated coat, using Episode's proprietary tarnish-resistant process, for a bright, low-maintenance finish. The wall alternates panels of dense mosaic cutwork with plain unpierced panels, and the pattern breaks into bands around the circumference. Inside, the floor is solid and sized to seat one tealight, with the inner wall polished so the flame is sent back out through the cut-outs instead of being absorbed. A vertical join shows on one of the plain panels.
Episode Silver has been designing silverware since 2001, carrying forward a family silver-making lineage that goes back to 1882. Mosaic Lantern is manufactured at Episode's own Noida facility, where the same in-house team handles design, electroplating and finishing across a portfolio of more than 5,000 designs.

Lit, the drum throws its mosaic outward onto whatever surface it stands on, and the handle lets it hang from a hook as readily as sit on a table.

Cleaning:
Silver tarnishes when in contact with atmospheric Sulphur. To prevent tarnishing, regular usage of products is recommended. Products should also be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth regularly.
Food:
Salt and certain acidic foods are harmful to silver, burning it's surface and leaving permanent black spots. After usage, products should be well rinsed and dried with a soft, dry cloth.
Storage:
While storing, wrap the product is a soft, felt cloth and then in an airtight bag or container. Dampness encourages tarnishing and can also harm wooden components so store the products in clean, dry and airtight cupboards.
Tarnish:
Heavily tarnished products can be cleaned with various silver polishes. These polishes are available at our store and you can purchase the polish and use it with a dry cloth to clean the products at home. Alternatively, we can also clean the products for you at any of our stores.
