Rakhi Petite is a silver rakhi built around a small rounded-square link stamped with Episode's own mark and set with two red stones. Made in 92.5 sterling silver, finished with Episode's tarnish-resistant plating for lasting shine. This piece comes with an Episode certificate of authenticity and a guarantee card. The scale is deliberately understated next to Episode's larger rakhi medallions, strung on a fine blue and beige braided thread.
Rakhi Petite is manufactured at Episode's own Noida facility, where design, electroforming and finishing are handled in house. Episode Silver has been designing silverware since 2001, carrying forward a family silver-making lineage that goes back to 1882. The same in-house design team works across Episode's wider portfolio of more than 5,000 designs.
Rakhi Petite is the smallest design in the range, but scale isn't really the point of a rakhi tied on Raksha Bandhan; the promise behind it is. Making even a small piece in silver is a way of saying that promise still deserves more than a thread that gets cut off within the week.
It arrives in a premium, fabric-covered box with a magnetic lid, finished with a silver ribbon, making it ready to gift as is. You can also personalize it, adding your engraving details directly at checkout. To keep the finish bright, wipe gently with a soft, moist flannel cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or silver polish, as these can affect the tarnish-resistant coat.

Cleaning:
Silver tarnishes when in contact with atmospheric Sulphur. To prevent tarnishing, regular usage of products is recommended. Products should also be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth regularly.
Food:
Salt and certain acidic foods are harmful to silver, burning it's surface and leaving permanent black spots. After usage, products should be well rinsed and dried with a soft, dry cloth.
Storage:
While storing, wrap the product is a soft, felt cloth and then in an airtight bag or container. Dampness encourages tarnishing and can also harm wooden components so store the products in clean, dry and airtight cupboards.
Tarnish:
Heavily tarnished products can be cleaned with various silver polishes. These polishes are available at our store and you can purchase the polish and use it with a dry cloth to clean the products at home. Alternatively, we can also clean the products for you at any of our stores.
While we currently ship only to India on our website, we can also offer international shipping on a case by case basis. As Silver is a high value product, there are additional shipping charges which are borne by the customer. Additionally, the customer may be required to pay import or customs duties and other relevant taxes that are applicable in their country.
